Maximilian Ehrhardt is an experienced performer in many different kinds of musical styles from the 13th century up to contemporary music.

His main focus lies on the performance of Renaissance and Baroque music on the arpa doppia and on the music from the early Classical up to the Romantic period on the single action pedal harp.

Apart from these instruments he has professional experience with Gothic harps from the Medieval period, the Welsh Triple Harp and historical double action harps from the 19th century.

As a performer of the modern grand harp, he was specializing in contemporary music, which he still feels strongly connected to.

Maximilian Ehrhardt is a competent basso continuo player in different musical styles until the Classical period. He enjoys greatly the practice of improvisation which he regards as essential of the musical practice of an Early Music specialist.
