Maximilian Ehrhardt is a keen researcher on the forgotten repertoire for the harp.
In his solo programs he creates a musical storyline around the lives of famous harpists from the past. Including music that lead to the individual musical styles of these – then famous, now mainly forgotten – virtuosos, he features compositions that they would have performed in their own recitals.
He often performs works he discovered himself in libraries and musical archives, bringing to life these yet unpublished works that have not been heard by a public for centuries.
Different solo and ensemble programs are available upon request.
